Other Bloggers on Mike Huckabee

Bob Waters of the Iowa blog Watersblogged, had this to say about the 2008 election earlier this week:

"...the fact is that Rudy Giuliani is not going to be the Republican candidate for president, and John McCain probably won't be, either. ...the nominee will probably be either Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney or Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee, who- like Romney- exudes personal charm and is a devastatingly effective speaker and campaigner."

Mr. Waters is exactly right about Governor Huckabee's stump skills. But - unlike Romney - Huckabee is much, much deeper than merely stump skills. Huckabee is a former Baptist minister - a true, lifelong social conservative with a stellar record on issues like abortion and gay marriage.

Romney -- there's no other way to say it -- simply isn't.

We've said it before and we'll say it again -- if the GOP nomination comes down to Mike Huckabee or Mitt Romney, we could not be happier.
